With 2022 bringing about the ease of lockdown restrictions, this means one thing: Wedding Season – ALL YEAR! And along with weddings comes the exciting topic of wedding dress shopping and shopping for formal dresses.

I am particularly excited about this as I too will be getting married in the next 10 months. This means I do almost nothing except search for Wedding and Formal Dresses Online.

Here are a few of my top picks that I would love for my own bridesmaids or wedding guests to wear –

For the Black Tie Bridesmaid:
I saved this dress to my Wishlist the second I saw it! I think it is so unique and classic, but the short hem and mismatched sleeves keep it fun and young. It is something high-end yet modern that would suit a young and fun group of bridesmaids.

For the Garden Wedding Bridesmaid:
I am torn between optioning this as a bridesmaid dress or as a wedding guest dress as it could totally work for both. I am a huge fan of the current trend of wearing trapeze dresses as bridesmaid dresses as they are a flattering shape and I would love for my bridesmaids to be able to re-wear their dresses!

For the Boho Wedding Bridesmaid:
This may be my favourite look out of all of these – and I am not even having a boho wedding! This is the perfect combination of classic and fun. The asymmetrical neckline is flattering on most shapes and the bubble sleeve is a forgiving cut. I also adore this colour as it would work perfectly on pretty much anyone and everyone.

For the Winter Wedding Bridesmaid:
When I was a little girl I always imagined having a classic American “Winter Wonderland” wedding. Now that I am A) an adult, B) actually engaged and C) aware that I live in South Africa,  I realize how ridiculous this is. However I do think that this Gauged Detail Maxi Dress from MILLA is absolutely gorgeous. This shade of blue is outstanding and it would take you from reception to wedding party.

For the Casual Wedding Guest:
This is another option that could work perfectly as a garden wedding bridesmaid option or as a wedding guest outfit. This dress is also available in the most exquisite emerald green – I am obsessed with this style!

There are truly so many amazing options available on Superbalist. I could spend – and trust me, I have done so! – hours and hours scouring through the choices. Which one do you think my I Do Crew should wear?
