Optiphi has quickly become one of my most highly recommended skincare brands. I’ve been dabbling in products from the brand for the past 18 months or so and it’s become apparent that almost every product I try is in a league of its own. So today I want to chat through my top 5 Optiphi products.
Complexion Control – R1310
Designed to be introduced gradually into your routine, the Complexion Control from Optiphi is made from a powerful blend of Vitamins C & B3 to improve radiance, combat free radicals and rebuild the skin structure.
The main active, Retinol, is a powerful brightening agent which targets age spots and pigmentation as well as addresses UV damage and controls oil production while also mattifying the skin. Sounds like an all in one, right? And it is! You will only achieve brilliant results like these when you invest the money into products of such a high caliber and especially when they contain an active.
Dermintense Active Gel – R1743
The Dermintense is a pricier option compared to the Complexion Control but it is retinol free and my pregnancy skin couldn’t be happier knowing I could achieve similar results without applying retinol to my skin. Essentially it is a collagen and elastin enhancement therapy. This title alone is music to my ears.
So how? The addition of bakuchiol, a retinol-like ingredient, offers your skin all the advantages of retinol but without the irritation. It enhances collagen production, improves pigmentation and supports sensitive skin. Certain peptides boost collagen production, hyaluronic acid and elastin production in the skin and this in turn reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Thermus Thermophillus Ferment reduces sun damage while Teprenone promotes the vitality and longevity of skin cells. It is an absolutely DIVINE product and potentially my favourite on this list.
Pure Exfoliating Wash – R468
I recently posted about this Pure Exfoliating Wash so I won’t get into it again. You can check the full post out here.
Refine Foliant – R500
This is the newest Optiphi product to my stash and potentially my favourite. I know I just said that about the Dermintense Active but they’re both incredible…
Again, it’s safe for use in pregnancy and contains a triple-whammy of advanced ingredients such as Ascorbic, Lactic and Salicylic Acids. These combined makes up a potent chemical exfoliant which will achieve a softer and more moisturised skin tone in this “home peel” product.
Hydra-Derm HA Masque – R770
This is another one that I want to claim as a favourite. Really, Rayne. But it is just SO good! I’ve recently finished this tube and I’ll be stocking up on another ASAP.
I always opt for cream and hydration masks and this is the best of both worlds. A creamy leave-on masque that soothes dehydration; fights the signs of fatige and delivers an intense long-lasting moisturization. You truly are left with incredibly soft, plumped up, and skin that feels as if you’ve been drinking water all day.
This is thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid which increases the skin’s ability to retain water. A carefully selected blend of peptides reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves the skin’s firmness and elasticity aaaaand protects the collagen and elastin that support the skin’s structure. All this from one mask? Sign me up again and again!
Those are my top 5 products from Optiphi but you can read up on a few more on my blog. Just search for ‘Optiphi’ on the home page. And don’t forget to let me know which products from the brand are YOUR favourites!
