I have been using this Perfect & Radiant Micellar range from NIVEA for almost two weeks (literally just started my blog post with what the title is) and a review is definitely in order.
The main reason that I was exceptionally excited for the Perfect & Radiant Micellar range is because I am soooo on team Micellar Water. Micellar technology in skincare products has been around for years, but it really only exploded as a “cult favourite” in around 2014 when more drugstore affordable options were made available to us. I will 100% call Micellar and a cotton pad my favourite g0-to way of removing my make-up. If I am feeling particularly lazy, I will go in with a make-up removing wipe instead. So ja, basically been using wipes for the past two months. I just feel like my face gets a more in depth clean, before I cleanse, when I use Micellar on my face.
Another reason I was so interested in the range is because I noticed that particular products were geared towards different skin types. I find this very interesting because the products are all from the same range.
This latest range from NIVEA, the Perfect & Radiant Micellar range, contains four items.
Perfect & Radiant Micellar 3-in-1 White Clay Cleanser
Love. Love love LOVE! This 3-in-1 wash, scrub and mask cleanser is right up my alley. I will use the most hardcore scrub on my face every single night if I could. Therefore I have not even tried this as a cleanser but I have used it as a mask and a scrub. I like to be extra generous with the amount. Warm it up in my hands. Then go for gold on your face. It is a very gentle cleanser, which is why I prefer to be extra rough with it and get a good ol’ scrub in. Your face feels so clean afterwards and this was NIVEA’s goal with this range; to give your face a deep yet gentle cleanse without feeling tight or drying. (R99.99 for 150ml and R39,99 for 50ml)
Perfect & Radiant Micellar 3-in-1 Cleansing Wipes
What more can I say about NIVEA make-up removing wipes that I have not said before? They are my go-to cleansing wipes and these ones are specially formulated with micellar technology and Vitamin E. Also, these have a special lash protection in them which allows you to use the wipes gently on waterproof make-up. The wipes are also designed to tone and moisturise your skin with the wipe alone. I personally would never not use a cleanser and moisturiser after a wipe BUT it is perfect for a mom who is on the go (or after a particularly rough night out, maybe?). What I can say is that you face really does feel gently moisturised after using the wipes. So NIVEA is really delivering on the or promise with this one.
Perfect & Radiant Micellar Toning Lotion
This toner may be my favourite product from the range! It may be because I am just not about that toner life anymore so this feels “new” and exciting on my face? I generally use a skincare routine which does not require a toner. However, two years ago my toner collection could rival a Clicks display. I really had forgotten how this step in your skincare routine adds that little bit of extra softness and nourishment to the skin. Or maybe it is just because this particular one is so great? Either way, my skin feels unbelievable soft and plump after all three steps. It is especially clarifying and purifying on the skin. Do you want what I am saying? When you can really feel the change in your skin? This toning lotion is geared especially towards ladies with oilier skin. (R62,99 for 200ml)
Perfect & Radiant Micellar 3-in-1 Cleansing Water
And then, finally, the crème de la crème, the actual Micellar Water from the Perfect & Radiant Micellar range. First off, the price point, because this is the best part. This whopping 400ml bottle is R99,95! Pretty similar to the toning lotion, but this would be your first step in the skincare routine. It smells good and your face feels VERY clean afterwards. I know I keep using the word ‘clean’ in this post, but that is honestly what comes to mind. Clean, clean, clean. You have a super clean feeling face afterwards. Since I started testing this range, I happened to be wearing a LOT of make-up. Like full on face every day. I still only need one cotton pad to get the entire face with. I don’t soak the entire cotton pad, but more the middle and then use both sides.
Before using these four products, I would have recommended the Q10 Plus range to anyone looking for an affordable skincare range. I definitely will go ahead now and say that this is my new favourite collection from NIVEA. And, if I had to choose, I would narrow my favourites down to the Micellar Toning Lotion and the Micellar Cleansing Water.
I really hope you enjoyed reading this post. And hopefully, if you were on the lookout for particular skincare product, you may have found it here!

Thanks Rayne. LOVE YOUR BLOGS. Would this range work for a 51 year young me? Always loved using Nivea in my younger days and would love to start using it again and this range sounds heavenly.
Hi Rita. First off, thank you for your comment. That has honestly made my night and put a huge smile on my face!
I am not sure if this range would be the perfect one for you, but my mom (45 y/o) loves Nivea’s Q10 Plus range. I want to go out on a limb and say a big YES, try this range! It really is one of the nicer (and more affordable) range options around. Maybe start with one product and see how it feels on your skin?
Let me know what you think! xx
I’ve never heard of Micellar before but I’d like to try it out now, especially the cleansing wipes for when I wipe off my make-up. Great review!
