I was nominated for this Liebster Award by Jess from The World According to Jess. I love these because they allow you to connect with other smaller blogs and introduce many more people to your blog.

Here are my questions set by Jess.

1. What inspired you to first start blogging?

I have always been a fan of other bloggers. I love to have a nosy sneak into someones life, be it a picture of their lunch to how they did their make-up for their birthday. In South Africa (where I live) bloggers are not on the same level as international bloggers but it seems that the blogging community is slowly but surely growing. I have had a slight, shall we say, obsession with make-up and beauty for the past two years and I have wanted to start a blog about for ages, I feel that the combination of having a beauty blog is just what I need to have my creative outlet.

 

2. What do your friends and family think of it?

Thankfully, most of them are supportive, and some don’t even ask about it. Luckily I have a few friends who are also new to blogging and its great because we can chat about blog related topics and share our tips and tricks.

 

3. If you won the lottery what would you purchase first?

I know I should say a house.. buuuut I’d probably go on a shopping spree. Or I’d buy a ticket around the world.

 

4. What can you not live without?

A pulse? Air? Nah, family.

5. If you could be best friends with anyone who would it be and why?

Ooooh I love Ariana Grande and Zoe Sugg. AND KIM KARDASHIAN. No hate.

 

6. Do you focus more on the outfit or the beauty when going on a night out?

Definitely the beauty. I feel that you can be wearing rags but if your face and hair are on point then who cares.

 

Do you have any pets?

Yessss, a boy daschund called Princess and a girl whippet called Luna.

 

8. What is your favorite past time?

Blogging, for sure. I could write for hours. And also just relaxing with a good book or series. And eating.

 

9. What is your biggest goal in life?

To just be successful and love whatever I decide to pursue in the long run. I would love to have a big family and be able to support them and give them the best.

 

10. What is your most listened to song at the moment?

Difficult! It’s a tie between Uptown Funk (the Fleur East version) and Sugar by Maroon 5.

 

11. Where do you see your blog in the future?

I am still a newborn blog so right now I just want to focus on posting regularly and staying true to only posting what I am interested in. I’d love to be doing regular MOTD posts once my life is a little less crazy.
