So a few weeks ago I was sent this Kardashian Ceramic Hairstyler to use for two weeks. When I “unboxed” it on Snapchat I got so many messages from friends telling me how much they hate me – but please, stay my friend, as I had to send this rose gold baby back after testing it sufficiently.
I did a review post on the Kardashian branded Black Seed Dry Oil and I mentioned in it how I attended the Cape Town Hair and Beauty Show and had my hair styled by the Glam It ladies. I chose the Khloe style which was a full head of soft and bouncy loose curls. My normal hair is medium thick, slightly frizz with super curly curls so this was an uber treat. I was sent the normal Hairstyling Iron to test. The tool used on my hair was different to the one sent to me – they used the 3-in-1 Hairstyling Iron. Both products are incredible in their own right and this is a review on only the Ceramic Hairstyler but I just have to throw in a few details on the 3-in-1 Hairstyling Iron while I have your attention…
The ceramic plates are infused with their famous Black Seed Oil (yes, the same oil that I posted a rave review about). This is what gives your hair that amazing super soft feel after using the tools. The oil gives your hair that added shine and smoothness whether you are straightening or curling your hair.
Those images are definitely more than the usual amount of photos that I like to post of myself… but I just had to show you the absolute sleekness of my hair from every angle.
Now, my favourite things about the 1” Hairstyling Iron? Oh and by the way , one inch is 2.54cm in South African language. Firstly, the added Black Seed Oil is amazing. Secondly, the different heat setting options are amazing and unique to any hair styler I have ever owned. You base your heat setting on whether you have thin, medium or coarse hair and the highest heat is 420 Fahrenheit (aka 215 Celcius). I opted for the highest one and it worked wonderfully on my curly as heck hair. No drying it out at all.
Furthermore, the power chord is super long and again it is longer than any other straightner chord I have ever used. And lastly, that packaging. I mean come on! Sleek black and soft rose gold… it has my heart in its clutches and its not letting go.
There are still a few I’d love to try in the future but I was very impressed with all of the Kardashian products overall. Namely, the Back Comb (SO AFFORDABLE), the Dry Conditioner and the Pure Glitz (super volumnizing spray) Spray.
And one final picture of me. I feel quite cringe – not used to so many pics of my face on my blog! This photo was taken three days after straightening my hair, with no touch ups in between. And it still looks pretty damn sleek and straight to me!
What do you think of the Kardashian Beauty Hair range? Do you have your eye on any of the products?
