When I first saw these Face Studio blushers on – I think it was – Leigh from Lipgloss Is My Life’s Instagram I fell in love with their unique look and bright colours.
The colours were so bright, the packaging was so sleek and the swatches looked incredible!

The shades I got were 60 COSMOPOLITIAN, 80 DARE TO PINK and 100 PEACH. And looking at those photos I am sure you can tell why I was dying to get my hands on them. They are STUNNERS.

It is described online as “High-Density Statement shades for cheeks that speak. Cheeks that make a statement in one sweep. More pigments for our most saturated color. Even more refined texture.”

Now I definitely agree that these are some of the most pigmented Maybelline blushes that I have used. And I have used a lot.
There is a slight powder fallout when applying this, but nothing that a dust off of your brush won’t fix.
The shade payoff is spot on to the colour you see in the pan. The peach shade is literally the perfect shade for my skintone. If you are fair with darker hair and brows then 100 PEACH POP needs to be your new jam.

Also something to chat about; the packaging. PLEASE do not try and take the lid off by pulling it up and off. It actually swipes up to the left. This is uber chic and fancy, but you may end up denting the pan itself when trying to jam the lid off. I got waaay too much blusher under my nails by forcing this lid off.

And finally, the biggest bonus for me. You get a huge 5g of product in here which, in terms of powder products, is major. And, at R99 each, why would you not buy every single shade? EDIT: Since writing this post I have gone back and purchased a fourth shade!
