Welcome back to another Ultimate Picks post! Today I am chatting all about my L’Oréal favourites and this is going to be a doozy of a post with SEVEN products being featured. Lets get straight into it!

L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara

Lets start off with the best mascara of all time, shall we? I have been referring to the L’Oréal Telescopic as the BEST MASCARA OF ALL TIME for about 18 months now. So next time you are at Clicks, pop this into your basket. But, listen closely now, as this is where people get confused… it must be the BLACK tube, not the silver. I couldn’t understand why my sister didn’t become obsessed with this until I saw her using it. You have to go with the original black tube. It is so freaking beautiful and pretty much gives you false lashes without actually applying false lashes. You can read my original review on it here, but I hope it is not too cringey. I can’t bring myself to open the post just in case I embarrass myself. Price: R199.95

L’Oréal Colour Riche Lipsticks

I mean really. Just look at these bloody pictures! Now, take the physical beauty and imagine the quality level being the same. That is what these lipsticks do. They look beautiful, they smell beautiful, they apply beautifully, they last beautifully. L’Oréal is just QUEEEEEN when it comes to lippies. I must own close to 35 L’Oréal lipsticks and my favourites would have to be the Matte Colour Riche range and the Delicat Rose Colour Riche range. You can check out my review on three of the Delicate Rose lipsticks here. If I had to pick my faves in the Matte range they would be Hype, Paris Cherry, Plum Tuxeddo and Mahogany Studs. Price: R179.95

L’Oréal Infallible Lip Glosses

The three glosses you see on the right make for the most stunning lip toppers. They are sleek and sheeny while not being sticky or the kind that your hair keeps getting stuck in. The creme on the left however is one of my favourite lip shades in my entire collection. It is pretty much a matte lip cream (described online as having a “cotton finish”) but it still leaves a slip on your lips which alleviates any tacky or tight feeling that sometimes comes with a matte finish. Price: R159.95

L’Oréal Infallible Stay Fresh Foundation

This is my second favourite foundation from the brand but still incredible enough to snag itself a spot on this list. Being almost as amazing as the below mentioned; long lasting, great buildable coverage, a little goes a long way. The difference is this foundation offers you a dewy, more luminously glowing skin. I really really enjoy it and it is one of my more frequently used foundations in the Summer months. Price: R199.95

L’Oréal Super Liner So Couture & Gel Matic

For a while the Blackbuster was my favourite liner from L’Oréal but these two have taken over as my new faves. The So Couture is a supple yet firm khoki style nib which allows for a precise wing whether you want a thick or thin line. The Gel Matic is a pencil liner which is perfect for smudging on your lids and under your lashes. I don’t gravitate towards eyeliner pencils too often but when I do, this is the one I grab. I especially love the So Couture for its matte black ink and the fact that there is no need to go over it yet again to darken the colour. Price: Between R109 – R179

L'Oréal

L’Oréal Infallible 24 Hour Matte

Officially my favourite foundation of all time. OF ALL TIME. I have sung the praises of this foundy so many times. I started using it in December 2015 (yes, I remember such memorable make-up events) and since then I have only found one other foundy which matches in quality. You can read my previous gushy gushy review over here – but please don’t judge my olden day photo quality. I seriously can not rave on about this enough. It is impeccable on my skin, it is beautifully builadble and it lasts the entire night! Price: R189.95

L’Oréal Infallible Eyeshadows

I don’t know if I would call it unfair that this eyeshadow is included in this post but I will be honest and say it is the only shadow from the range that I own. I do think it deserves a place here based on the fact that it is of such a great quality and so long lasting. This honestly lasts a good 10 – 12 hours without priming my eyelids. I know that sometimes weird things happen with ranges and some shades work better than others, even though the formulas are meant to be the same. But I am going out on a limb and calling this one of my favourite eyeshadows of all time. Also, don’t be daunted by the consistency of the loose pigment. It looks a bit intimidating but it is super easy and manageable to use.  Price: normally R149 but as of the publishing date of this post they are on takealot.com for R99 each

L'Oréal

And there you have it guys. My seventh Ultimate Picks post. I am sure you can tell from everything you just read that L’Oréal is one of my most beloved brands. I really could not rave about the above seven products more!

Don’t forget to leave me a comment with any brand you want to see featured in my next few posts!
