Late last year Eucerin released their Elasticity + Filler range, consisting of three products. A day cream, a night cream and a facial oil.

Elasticity + Filler

You all know, I am a huge lover of facial oils. Day creams and night creams… not so much. At 23, I need to get my ass into high gear in terms of being religious with my skincare routine.

However, Eucerin has always been one of my favourites when it comes to day creams. They are SO hydrating and I am able to be reaaaally good with my applications.

Anyway, no matter your age, this Elasticity + Filler range is pretty much what any woman aged 20+ needs in their skincare routine. All three products promise to “Improve elasticity and supports resilience. Skin feels smooth and looks radiant”. You can see the full list of ingredients over on the local Eucerin webiste.

They are aimed at “mature skin” and, while my skin is still young, it is definitely looking more mature than it should.

The positives for me would be the divine clean smell of the creams, as well as the lightness of the day cream. It is definitely one of those “sinks into your skin” formulas which I find myself preferring over thicker creams. Also, all three contain the same anti-oxidant ingredients which help with overall redness, irritation and other minor skin concerns.

The facial oil would be my favourite product from the range, just because it is the most stunning and light oil to mix in with foundations. This is something I have been doing for ages. In the summer months it helps keep your skin looking dewy rather than oily. And in the winter months it keep dry skin slightly more moisture rich.

Overall I love Eucerin as I view them as an affordable yet VERY effective skincare brand. This range however is almost triple the price of their other products. The day cream and night cream go for R349,99 each and the oil is slightly pricier at R399,99.

At the end of the day you have to look at your skin concerns as well as the ingredients and decide if it is worth the money. I definitely think this new range is worth their price tags, just take a look at the ingredient list and you will be convinced!
