Every month it is the same thing. HOW is it already this far in the year? I am late with my September Faves 2016 post because I had no idea it was already the end of the month. So lets just jump straight into it.

September Faves 2016

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer

Oh if only you were sold in South Africa! The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer is a cult favourite and not available on our shores. It is such a goodie for dark circle, discolouration and red-ness. Basically doing the job of three coloured concealers. In one tube. Yes. And did I mention how creamy and luxurious it feels? When I go to England I will be buying multiples of this because it is just that great..

Lancôme Genefique Youth Activating Serum

I might have featured this before but it has made it to my September Faves 2016 post too. This is yet another cult favourite and one of Lancôme’s best sellers. At around R900 a bottle, it is not cheap. But damn it does the job! It alleviates almost any skin concern you could have. Fine lines? Yes. Dull skin? Yes. Dehydrated skin? Yes. Almost anything else? Yes indeed. I feel the positive effects of this product almost immediately when I use it.

Garnier ‘The Sleek Restorer’ range

I recently wrote a full length review which will be up on Kathryn’s blog later in the month. The Ultimate Blends range contains six inner ranges that each contains four products and I have loved the ‘Sleek Restorer’ range so much that I may post a full review on here soon. It smells delectably like coconuts and cocoa butter and it really does alleviate frizzy hair and flyaways. This range is not just a pretty face.

Benefit The Porefessional Matte Rescue Gel

I actually had this product sitting in my beauty stash for months before using it. I am always like this when I have a Benefit product; I know it is going to be fab but the packaging is so cutesy that I don’t want to ruin the appeal by opening it. Eventually I did and it is just as great as the original Porefessional. It glides smoothly onto your face and creates the perfect cavas for applying your make-up onto. I won’t use it daily as it has a slightly steep price tag but I will definitely reach for it when I have a special occasion.

ghd Smooth & Finish Serum

A product which I used to use every time I straightened my hair and when we moved in April I completely forgot about it! I rediscovered this product recently and I knew it had to make it onto the September Faves 2016 list. I have wavy hair which goes slightly frizzy in between seasonal changes (aka currently) and this is an absolute wonder in keeping your newly straightened hair sleek and smooth. It basically hides split ends as if they aren’t actually there.

September Faves 2016

And once again another monthly favourites post has ended! I am SO excited to be in October as it means we are nearing the festive season and nearing my UK trip…
