I have only ever done one other Life Update post but it was such a highly viewed post that I have been dying to post a new one! It is now two months later and I finally have enough to say to write a full post..

HOME: We have now been in our new place for three whole months and as of TODAY we finally have everything we need.
We purchased so much stuff when we moved in in April but we also knew that my mom would be giving us tons of stuff because she is moving to England in July. OMG, thats now now. We now have the last few bits and pieces. We have upgraded to a gigantic chrome fridge, a microwave. We stuck it out for a while with our old fridge. We even looked into sites like https://www.appliancerepairinmurfreesboro.com/ to get in touch with a repair company. But as we were moving, we thought it would be best to get new appliances overall. We also now have many more pots and pans and cutlery. And, finally, a cheese grater! We also have a two meter tall plant which I named Norman. Mom and Marius aren’t too impressed with the choice.

FOOD: Our low carbing has pretty much gone out the window entirely. I will eat very healthily at work for breakfast and lunch but then for dinner we are a bit naughty. Myself and boyf have been having terrible stomach aches this last week. Obviously our bodies telling us that we should be staying far faaar away from the bad carbs.

LOVE: It is the beeeest living together with boyf in our new home. I wouldn’t change it at all! He is off to visit his dad in the Free State in three weeks. AND he will be gone for three weeks! We have not been apart for that long since three years ago when we were in a long-distance relationship. He was living in Sodwana for a year to earn his diving qualifications. I unfortunately cannot join him due to working a Monday – Friday office job.

FAMILY: It is so weird knowing my mom is moving to England in 19 days! She has always lived near to me my entire life. I have not always lived with her while I was growing up, but she was always in close driving distance. Thank goodness for Skype, Whatsapp and Facebook!
My sister and dad both celebrated their birthdays over these last two weeks so we had major quality time. Since I moved out three months ago, its been weird being away from them so its also awesome to have that time together.

BLOGGING: I have been a bit slow in terms of blogging lately. It is FREEZING at home and I just seem to want to snuggle up watching TV. Instead, I should be buckling down to create content for the weeks ahead. I adore days like today when I’m in bed next to the heater and just so inspired to just type! I have been using a few products over the last few weeks that have just been so amazing and I know I need to put up some reviews and share them.
I also attended a few events over the last few weeks and the Revlon event was mind blowing. Look out for some exciiiiting posts.

DREADING: Marius leaving. Tackling sorting out our new fridge tonight. Moving food and frozen goods over and defrosting the fridge, and back again. Etc Etc. My mom leaving on the 21st.

EXCITED FOR?: Visiting my mom in England in December! We are already planning our trip and I can hardly wait. I will be going with my brother and sister and I know it is going to be incredible!

I am also excited to attend the annual FFA event at Shimmy Beach Club tomorrow night. It is a charity event held for CANSA and it is such a luxurious affair. Myself and Cara are going together and it’s going to be a goooood night.

I have also recently started on a few campaigns with Sorbet Sun Valley as their in-store beauty blogger. I have a few awesome blog series featuring Sorbet products coming up. I am super excited for the series so keep posted!
